Avast???????????????????????

If you would have to rate Avast out of 10 how will you rate and what version should I buy for a home computer?

Chosen Answer:

I agree with Sasha, i will give it 10/10. i downloaded the home version(cos u dont have to pay for it) not the professional version at www.avast.com and just as sasha says, its really good.
I would also advise u to go to www.iobit.com, u go down a bit on the page and u will see it is written “care” then beside it, u can see download then u download it, its very very good as well.

10/10. I tried Norton, Symantec, McAFee, AVG, and figured all antivirus programs were crap. I found 20 viruses manually that none of those caught. And then my friend had avast and scanned and found 17 of the 20. So yeah, Avast is great. Just buy the cheapest version, unless you’re really naїve, in which case the home version is better because it has e-mail protection and whatnot. It might be the cheapest as it is.

AVG is better its 9/10. Avast is only like a 5/10

I give it a 3. There just like most av products that let you get infected before they do anything about it. I perfer to block the virus before it enters my pc not try to find it after your infected. I use BluePoint Security and they don’t let you get infected in the first place.

Antivira is much better than AVAST. Antivira catches about 90%, Avast about 80%, AVG about 75%.

I really wouldn´t buy Avast-it hasn´t got such a good virus protection and detection as Kaspersky. Also if you plan on buying it I´m sure it´s cheaper than the latter one.But I´d rather give it 5/10.There are lots of anti-virus programs that :let the virus enter your computer and then tell you they found it but cannot remove it(a.k.a. AVG Internet Security 8),let the virus enter….then leave it alone to do whatever it has to do with your files not even telling you you have one.You cannot see how good is an anti-virus software until you try another one after you use the first for some time-also it´s highly-dependable on what kind of user you are-the sites you navigate to,things you download to your PC…etc..

I would give it a 9. You will want the ‘home’ version (it’s free!!!)

Just remember it does not replace all other utilities (firewall, spyware scanner, safe browser (Firefox) or SAFE BROWSING!!)

I always tell my customers ‘Do NOT click yes to anything!

99.0% of viruses are installed because somebody accepted them!
